Rocky Mountain Christmas
When I was just a lad
I built snowmen with my dad
Fit with fancy clothes
And orange carrots for the nose
And back inside we’d find some hot chocolate
Made by my mother these are the days I won’t forget
Rocky Mountain Christmas. Whoa oo oo
I’ve been gone so long but now I’m coming home
And up that mountain side
We’d go skiing down we’d glide
Criss-crossing the snow
And up again and down we’d go
When you’re way up high
Here in heaven you can touch the sky
You can really breathe on this holy night
Where the stars are so ever bright
Rocky Mountain Christmas, Oh oh oh
I’ve been gone so long but now I’m coming home
Driving through the Kansas plains
There’s a beauty of its own
And in the back our kids are sleeping
In 300 miles we’ll be home
Instrumental
It’s grandpa they cry
At elevations miles high
Followed by mom giving hugs for every one
It’s so good to see you here on Christmas eve
And we’ve got presents your kids just won’t believe
Rocky Mountain Christmas, Oh oh oh
I’ve been gone so long but now I’m coming home
Instrumental
When you’re way up high
Here in heaven you can touch the sky
You can really breathe on this holy night
Where the stars are so ever bright
Rocky Mountain Christmas, Oh oh oh
I’ve been gone so long but now I’ve just come home
