Once I lived on the sunny side of the street
Life was good and the grass was oh so sweet
As more things came, there came the day
I kissed my sweet childhood away

I remember the time when I first saw you standing there
You melted my heart as we jumped through the rain
You and I are due for a holiday
You and I are due for a sweet summer’s day

We made it through times when our luck was really down
Living on pancakes, spaghetti and cheese by the pound
If life’s so good, then where does it go?
Are there some things we should never know?

I remember the time when I first saw you standing there
You melted my heart as we jumped through the rain
You and I are due for a holiday
You and I are due for a sweet summer’s day
You and I are due for a holiday
You and I are due for a sweet summer’s day

No worries, no worries, no worries, no
No worries, no worries, no
