Dollhouse
A door now unlatched, stepping inside
A carpet that leads to, so many places to hide
Teacups in miniature, you hear the floor creaks
Exploring this dollhouse, where baby she sleeps
Brown cows, upside down
Flying through the thick of vanilla air
Within a mobile, round and round
From colorful cats and the grin of a dancing bear
The crackle of cellophane, in the toy fireplace
And quiet is the night, so safe in this space
Upstairs to the bedroom, turning on the TV
Watching a nature show, about our reality
Dolphins, Oh dolphins
Stay alert for signs of a killer whale
They will eat you, Oh dolphins
Swim away and be safe
In this Caribbean tale
Dolphins, Oh dolphins
Turn off the lights and dream of your Caribbean tales
(Stay half asleep, and dream of your Caribbean tales)
