Blue Rainbow
Lost connections, breaking rules, isolated fools
How to tell we’re out of touch
Is by how much we clutch
And when we know there’s just one way
Through this window it’s all so clear
Heavenly clouds they drift apart
I open my eyes and there’s a truth I do behold
And it’s so beautiful
It’s a blue rainbow
A blue, blue colored rainbow
From the blue rain
To some it’s only common sense
No sitting on the fence
Tradition has a reason we can trust
Through this window it’s all so clear
Heavenly clouds they drift apart
I open my eyes and there’s a truth I do behold
And it’s so beautiful
It’s a red rainbow
A red, glorious red colored rainbow
From the red rain
And for all we know there’s nowhere else we can go
And reckless we are to insist
That the color we see, yes, is all that can be
If we believe in ourselves why are there:
Yellow flowers, turquoise waters, rustic weather vanes all pointing
Orange sunsets, indigo evenings, Earth-bound petrichlor anointing.
Golden poppies, emerald dragonflies, ultraviolet neutron stars and
Painted deserts, lush green jungles, just think of all the colors we are
