Beauty in Truth
Why do we believe
There are no simple answers to our questions
Look around and you’ll see
In the stillness your reflection shines so clear
We walk this path
Together here right now
And not before or after
So follow me outside
To face the sweet warm breath of the coming sunrise
Blow away your pride, feast your eyes upon the stars where we began
Where we began
Will we ever understand
Just why we began
Pull down the walls of conviction
Be free from the fear that’s in place
Either take life’s embrace
Or let go
The moment of truth has it come to us?
Is this the wisdom we crave?
Will the secrets of youth they enlighten us?
From the cradle to the grave
How can we survive in a world that seem so cold
Or am I deceived and we’re really not that small afterall
So where do we belong?
Wolf into dog
Weed into grain
What do you suppose nature herself could do
Given billions of years
The moment of truth has it come to us?
Is this the wisdom we crave?
May the secrets of youth they enlighten us
From the cradle to the grave
