Kailua Calling
Everybody’s looking for a little bit of home
A paradise deluxe
A place where you can live without big bucks
A Shangri-La with bougainvillea
Growing in the garden out back
Trade winds blowing gently through your shack
Waimea’s got those 10 foot waves
Lahaina’s got a tree
But O’hana lives Kailua way
And that’s what’s calling me
Everybody’s looking for a little, little,
Little bit of paradise
Where the work is good and the kids have fun in school
Well you can’t have everything, you gotta get real
Is their advice
But be there for each utta as a rule
As we sail across Kailua Bay
The beauty can’t be beat
A blur of turquoise color
Is slapping at my feet
[Instrumental]
Singing by the campfire
With our friends in harmony
As the moon shines off the water
Kailua’s calling me
