Proposal
From a cliff looking yonder
‘Or the sea to the setting Sun
All ablaze streaks of crimson
Going down as the night’s begun
Crisp is the wind on our faces we shout
To the world where we stand on this dot
Falling in orbit this fire inside us
Is building with all that we got
Open the door when the muses are knocking
Appreciate all that they bring
Let them in . . .
Let them in, let them sing
All is laughter, love surrounds us
Your perfect kiss indisputable
And as all this passion
Wells inside
Please believe you are beautiful
And the stars in your eyes they glisten
With the moon and the galaxy
And under all of this I wonder
Would you marry me?
Open the door when the muses are knocking
Appreciate all that they bring
Let them in . . .
Let them in, would you please take this ring
Who I am will be my first promise
Then we’ll fly to places so unusual
And when the time it comes, we could have a child
I can see her smile
She is beautiful
Now that ice is all broken
From words I have spoken
I’m listening with all that I got
