Postcard from Heaven
Every day she checks the her mail looking for a post card from heaven
Ever since she was left alone she keeps to her side of the bed
Their clothes still hang together over their shoes
She knows its crazy and she knows just what to do
Make new friends and explore the world expand your point of view
But their clothes still hang together over their shoes
What if our minds were erased for a fresh start
What would you save from your past to fill your new heart
Would you believe your diaries held the truth
And she lies, in the dark with her breath and her pulse
She is strong, she is weak, she is free
And in her dreams she dreamed a dream of a post card sent from heaven
It said my love I’m doing fine but sad to miss you so
Please release me now I need to go
What if our minds were erased for a fresh start
What would you save from your past to fill your new heart
Would you believe your diaries held the truth
