She took off her shoes to feel the pebbles
To touch the cold mountain water
And in the sunshine I watched her smile at me
She was a photograph from heaven

I threw a rock it skipped to seven
Circles spreading in slow motion
She grabbed my arms and pulled me to the grass

It happened faster than the speed of light
She pinned me down in shear delight
Just like a tiger to a teddy bear

She stared me down while she waited to bite

The stars came out to flood the darkness
Shadows flickered by the fireside
The wine we shared beneath the constellations
