Why do we have to suffer,

Why can’t we have this perfect world
Where all our needs are met?
Is this uncertain place we live in
As good as it can get?

But if all we did was certain,
We never stumbled, we never groped,
This would be such an ugly downer
There’d be no room left for hope.
