Christmas Alone
I’m coming home
I’m gonna have to sing myself to sleep
I’m all alone
It’s like no one loves me I’m a creep
I’m spending Christmas all alone
Maybe this year
I’ll ride with Santa on his sleigh
And shed no tears
As I’m giving gifts away I’ll pray
For no more Christmases alone.
I can help guide the reindeer
To all the lonely souls I see
Bring a smile to the new year
It’s so easy to be overcome
By all the news that turns us numb, so please
Find the beauty in every land
Feel the joy of joining hands, so we can finally see
A Christmas as it should be
And that’s when Santa tapped my shoulder
Gave a laugh and said he hadn’t
Forgotten to get me a present. Hey!
It’s a crystal ball
It says I’ll find some one just like me
Awkward and all
We’ll raise an all awkward family
There’ll be no more Christmases
There will soon be no more Christmases alone
