I’m a streak of light at 100 miles an hour

A mouse in a maze, forever lost in the haze
Pushing for more than my most

And closing those doors that were so open before I turned away
To this brand new day

I’m trading in that skyline for a garden
Fluorescent city lights for the stars

Another legacy left in my wake

For me there’s no leaving that stage I’m just turning this page to gain more ground
