Blue Cocoon
She said her love was an open book
With passages so clear to see.
If only some one would take a look
As she bides her time she knows
Somewhere over the rainbow
There lies a shining knight waiting for her
If only she could attempt to jump from
The canyon’s edge she’d fly
Through the rain, through the storm, to the Sun, to the other side there’s her dream
Where she sits, by her roses, calmly gazing out from her window
And some things they come
And others we know
May never appear
That’s just how it goes
And she manages all these things
In a day to day equation
Plugging into the silence of her routine
And television
If we could just break from that blue cocoon
I bet we’d find a beautiful creation
Fluttering up to an open sky
We’d see just where we are
Through the rain, through the storm, to the Sun, there is a natural way to our dreams
Where we sit, on a rose, calmly drying our wings by the window
And some things they come
And others we know
May never appear
If we’re not willing to grow
From the rain, from the storm, from the Sun, there are so many ways we can start
Just find a place, where you can sit, calmly gazing out from your window
